The creation of this site commemorates the beginning of our adventure as we reclaim our ancestral farm and return it to productivity.
For all, ourselves included, it is important to remember that we are urban folks. With the exception of summers on grandparents’ farms and my year living off the land with my father in Vermont, we know nothing about farming. And that’s what makes this such an adventure!
We are learning quickly, starting with needed repairs on the 83 year-old house and growing from there to plans for chickens. We look forward to sharing our adventures as we go. Thanks for joining us for the ride.
